Ducktail Rainwear dives into life<\/strong> with consciousness for the environment around us.
\nWe started our journey in 2016 with the mission to protect people from the gloomy weather in style.<\/p>\n

Today, this mission has evolved together with us growing as a responsible company. We strive not only to protect people from any kind of weather but also to contribute to the environment in which we grow and live.<\/p>\n

Our production is based in Lithuania in order to support our country\u2019s economy and ensure ethical wages and working conditions. That way, we are able not only to ensure good working conditions but also participate in the production process. We make sure that every product is made with exceptional care and attention to detail.<\/p>\n

High-quality materials come from France, so the whole production process is kept in Europe with the minimized carbon footprint of transportation.<\/p>\n

We produce raincoats with the idea that every single product will have an owner that will find happiness on both sunny and rainy days. Due to that, Ducktail Rainwear does not support fast fashion and mass production<\/strong>. Raincoats and other products are produced in small quantities.<\/p>\n

Ducktail Rainwear puts a lot of time into making products that are not only timeless but also functional. Our raincoats are made with membrane and have sealed seams. Because of that, all the raincoats are waterproof<\/strong>, windproof<\/strong>, and, most importantly, breathable<\/strong>. That way, you can enjoy wearing our products in both Summer and Autumn.<\/p>\n

Besides that, we also incorporate reflectors and big pockets into our designs, so that our customers always feel safe and comfortable.<\/p>\n

As a company, we always strive to grow and improve our vision, values and work ethics. That is why through all these years, Ducktail Rainwear has experienced a lot of positive changes that we are proud of today.<\/p>\n

In 2021, we released our first raincoats made from recycled polyester<\/strong> outer shell and a soft recycled lining<\/strong> inside<\/strong>. To ensure sustainability, we chose to make our raincoats made with recycled materials certified by GRS – Global Recycle Standard<\/strong>, which stands for responsible social, environmental, and chemical practices in production.<\/p>\n

Today our range of products is slowly moving from a mix of recycled and not recycled to fully recycled products. In the long term, we want to offer only recycled rainwear products<\/strong> to our customers and retailers.<\/p>\n

Another step we took in 2021 was the start of cooperation with the Lithuanian Ornithologist Society. 2% of every purchase<\/strong> is contributed to help save water birds. We put nesting boxes near the rivers and lakes, so wild ducks and other water birds can give birth to ducklings as close to the water as possible. You can read more about it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
